AVON — Select Board convenes briefly to prepare Special Town Meeting articles. With Chair Jason L. Suzor absent, Clerk Eric S.
Beckerman and Associate Shannon M. Coffey reviewed warrant articles and assigned presentations: Mr. Beckerman will present Articles One and Four, Ms.
Coffey Article Two, and Chief Bukunt Article Three. The board discussed quorum risk due to ongoing snowstorm cleanup and authorized Town Moderator Michael Nelson to wait ten minutes past the 6:30 p.m. start time; if quorum is not met, the meeting will be postponed with a new date set at the board's January 29 meeting.
