Select Board opens Special Town Meeting for June 2

AVON — The Avon Select Board unanimously approved the opening and closing of a Special Town Meeting warrant for June 2, 2026. Chair Jason L. Suzor, Sr., Clerk Eric S.
Beckerman, and Associate Shannon M. Coffey voted in favor of both motions at the May 12 workshop. The warrant, containing one article, will be distributed to the Finance Committee and residents after the board signs it at Town Hall.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Avon Middle High School.
