Avon Select Board unanimously approves five-year employment agreement for Town Administrator Jonathan L. Beder, extending his contract through June 30, 2031. The FY27 operating budget totals $35,400,426, a 4.39 percent increase, with adjustments including the Town Administrator salary at $192,200 and Town Clerk salary at $106,226.
The board also signed a $1,490,000 sewer design and permitting agreement with Fuss & O'Neill for the Avon Industrial Park and a $172,750 well-redevelopment contract with Weston & Sampson CMR. A $83,269 Community Compact IT grant for police and fire mobile data terminals was approved unanimously.
