DocumentCenter · Meeting of August 5, 2020

Avon Zoning Board continues Joanna Hills Estates hearing. The board voted unanimously on a motion by Member Kevin Foster to extend the public hearing on the proposed 19-unit mixed-use development off Joanna Road to August 18. The project includes two single family homes, five duplex units, and 12 condo units, with affordable units subject to Massachusetts Housing approval.

Outstanding issues include three additional test pit excavations for Basin A, revised engineering details, and architectural plan attachments. Member Edward Mekjian opposed waiving water connection and building permit fees for the affordable units, citing impacts to town tax revenue.
