DocumentCenter · Meeting of July 30, 2020

AVON — School Committee hears fall reopening plans. The Avon School Committee met remotely on July 30, 2020, to hear Superintendent Christine Godino and Principals Shaw and Stockwell present preliminary plans for fall school reopening. The district outlined three instructional models (in-person, hybrid, and remote) for both Butler Elementary School and Avon Middle-High School.

The plans prioritize in-person learning for English language learners and students with special education needs and require 10 additional professional development days before school begins no later than September 16, 2020.
