AVON — Zoning Board continues hearing on 36-unit Brave Estates expansion. The Avon Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to defer decision on A&B Campbell Realty's Comprehensive Permit request for a four-building addition at 188 Central Street until August 2. The project would add 36 residential units, nine designated as affordable at 80 percent of area median income, along with 112 parking spaces and ADA-accessible units.
The board received public comment from abutters expressing concerns about privacy and street access, while the applicant pledged to plant trees to mitigate impacts. Additional materials on traffic, stormwater, and departmental feedback are due before the next hearing.
