Zoning Board approves setback variances for Langley Road

DocumentCenter · Meeting of April 5, 2022

AVON — The Avon Zoning Board of Appeals approved setback variances for a Langley Road home addition. The board voted 4-0 with one abstention to reduce the required front yard setback from 25 feet to 22 feet and side yard setback from 15 feet to 13 feet for Domenic and Krista Quintiliani's proposed two-car garage and porch. A second motion, also approved 4-0 with one abstention, granted a special permit finding the addition is no more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing nonconforming structure.

The Board of Health certified no septic issues, and Building Inspector Robert Borden documented the initial permit denial.
