Avon selectboard approves 2% pay raise for non-union staff. Acting Chair Eric S. Beckerman led the Board of Selectmen Thursday in the absence of Chairman Steven P.
Rose, approving a 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment for fiscal year 2023 and three service contracts totaling approximately $53,000, including a $33,000 GAC filter media replacement contract with Carbon Activated Corporation and a $20,000 on-call professional services agreement with Weston & Sampson. The board also granted approval for civic events at DeMarco Park and appointed two Park and Recreation counselors for the spring program.
