Planning Board votes to rescind booster pump requirement at Curtis Estates

Avon Planning Board votes unanimously to rescind booster pump requirement from Curtis Estates development. Vice Chair Robert Pillarella's motion, seconded by member Charles Marinelli, passed 5-0 following water-pressure testing in September 2020 that confirmed the system met minimum-pressure standards without additional pumps. An indemnification agreement with Curtis Estates trustees protects the town against liability for any future water-pressure issues resulting from the booster-pump omission.
