Council on Aging approves budget, pursues younger-senior outreach

Avon Council on Aging approves level-funded budget while launching online outreach to younger seniors. The board approved a level-funded budget and purchased annual Zoom licenses at $150 per year for online programming led by council member Christine Quinn. Eight Zoom yoga classes are underway with four participants, and historian lectures are scheduled.
The council identified a gap in COVID vaccine information available to seniors in Avon.
