Planning Board tables Curtis Estates booster pump dispute

DocumentCenter · Meeting of December 3, 2020

Avon Planning Board tables Curtis Estates booster pump dispute. The board deferred discussion until December 17 pending a revised Order of Conditions from town counsel, citing developer noncompliance with booster pump requirements despite adequate water pressure (35-40 pounds) documented by the Department of Public Works. Vice Chair Robert Pillarella emphasized the board's concern about liability if rules are not followed.

In other business, the board granted a postponement to the applicant at 540 Bodwell Ext., moving their Planning Board review to January 21, 2021, and issued a Special Permit for 1 Kiddie Drive.
