Park and Recreation approves contactless Santa visits, holiday programming

Avon Park and Recreation Commission approves holiday programming designed for pandemic safety. The commission unanimously approved contactless Santa visits for December 13 and 20, from noon to 4 p.m., with families registering online and attendance capped at 100. The board also voted unanimously to partner with Montilios Bakery in Brockton to sell holiday cookie kits to families at the Civic Center, pricing them at 5 dollars for gingerbread man kits and 10 dollars for six-piece holiday kits, with the commission subsidizing the remaining cost.
