Planning Board adopts stormwater rules, backs equipment business license

Avon Planning Board adopts stormwater regulations and backs business license. The board unanimously adopted new stormwater management rules effective January 1, 2021, implementing a $3,500 application fee. In separate business, it unanimously voted to recommend Board of Selectmen approval of a Class One License for Unbreakable LLC at 105 Memorial Drive for light assembly and repair of heavy equipment.
Applicant Mike Borghesani said operations will run 8 a.m. to 4 or 5 p.m., with deliveries one to two times monthly. The board also continued a public hearing on a 540 Bodwell Street site plan to December 3, pending Board of Health and Conservation Commission recommendations.
