Park Commission Approves Summer Program Equipment and DeMarco Park Upgrades

Avon parks board approves summer program equipment and civic facilities. Vice Chairman Benjamin Chapman and commissioners Jocelyn Lyons, Marci Kovick, and Matthew Ferro unanimously approved four motions, including the purchase of 10 to 12 barrels to secure the summer program tent, the rental of two portable toilets for DeMarco Park's summer concert series, the purchase of three picnic tables for DeMarco Park, and an Epson projector for $369.99. Recreation Director Jennifer Mayo reported 175 registered participants in the 2022 summer program.

The board tabled a request to use the Civic Center for Avon Memorial High School band practice.
