Avon Board of Health approves six septic modifications for residential properties. The board unanimously approved Title 5 local upgrade requests for septic system replacements affecting six town addresses, modifying state-mandated setbacks from foundations and soil absorption systems to account for high groundwater tables. Clerk Robert Ogilvie and Member Peter Marinelli alternated as motion makers on all requests.
Health Agent Kathleen M. Waldron also outlined requirements for the proposed Windsor Heights 40B housing project at 253 Page Street, requiring individual septic tanks and deed restrictions limiting unit bedroom counts.
