Park Board Approves Youth Soccer Field Permit

AVON — Park board approves youth soccer permit through November. The Avon Park and Recreation Board unanimously authorized Holbrook Avon Youth Soccer to use the Butler Soccer Field from August through November, with Chairman Hart, Vice Chairman Chapman, Commissioner Kovick, and Commissioner Lyons present. The board tabled the Butler Baseball Field decision pending consultation with Upper Deck on removal and maintenance costs.
A resident survey of 80 responses on the Bartlett Street Project identified basketball courts, pickleball courts, and tennis courts as the top three priorities, with a public meeting scheduled for August 24.
