Park and Recreation Commission Hires Playground Supervisor for Summer

Avon Park and Recreation Commission unanimously approves seasonal playground supervisor for summer. The board voted to appoint Michele Goode, a returning applicant, as Playground Supervisor at $16.35 per hour. All four present members voted in favor: Chairman Daniel Hart, Vice Chairman Benjamin Chapman, and Commissioners Marci Kovick and Jocelyn Lyon.
Recreation Director Jennifer Mayo reported six seasonal applications for summer positions and said the department would expand the workreation program to accept applicants in grades 10 and 11.
