Park and Recreation approves Summer Program rate increases

Avon Park and Recreation Commission votes to increase Summer Program fees and charges. The five-member commission unanimously approved raising resident fees to $125, choice student fees to $150, and non-resident fees to $170, with family caps of $250 and $300 respectively. Commissioners also unanimously approved raising late fees from $10 to $25 per hour.

The board approved a $375 dumpster purchase for Miller Tracy Playground and voted to feature Boston Burger at the July 25 Family Movie Night. Summer Program registration begins June 4, 2020.
