Housing Authority greenlights capital plan and common-area upgrades

Avon Housing Authority unanimously approves capital improvements plan as board loses treasurer. The board approved its 2020 Capital Improvement Plan and a $6,650 change order for common hallway improvements on January 29, presided over by Chairman M. Janet Jensen, Vice Chairman Kevin Edwards, and Treasurer Judy Laniewski.

Treasurer Debra Copeland announced her resignation effective January 31 due to relocating out of town. Candidate Gary Qualter attended and indicated his intention to run in the upcoming board election.
