Conservation Commission Issues Partial Compliance for Katherine's Way

DocumentCenter · Meeting of January 23, 2020

Avon Conservation Commission issues conditional approval on Katherine's Way project. Chair Kevin Mooney withheld full certification for 10 Katherine's Way after discovering unauthorized propane tanks, downed fences, and unauthorized fill stockpiles at the site. The commission issued a partial Certificate of Compliance requiring the applicant to pursue additional permits for underground fuel storage tanks at both 8 and 10 Katherine's Way and submit updated operations and maintenance plans by March 2020.

The property owners bear responsibility for maintaining the on-site retention basin. The commission unanimously approved Certificates of Compliance for two separate Bodwell Street properties involving drainage work and silo installation.
