Park and Recreation approves fall counselors and field permits

AVON — Park and Recreation Commission approves fall counselor posts and field permits. Vice Chairman Benjamin Chapman led the board in unanimously recommending Michele Goode at $14.03 per hour and Nathan Maguire at $13.66 per hour as fall counselors beginning September 27. Hitmen Baseball received a permit for Noonan Field on two dates with a $100 fee; Avon Youth Baseball was approved for Sylvester Fields through December 12, with Commissioner Marci Kovick abstaining.
The board unanimously renewed its Massachusetts Recreation and Parks Association individual membership for $100.
