AVON — Park and Recreation approves shed agreement for youth baseball and athletics. Vice Chair Benjamin Chapman moved to accept the Fagan Drive shed agreement with Avon Youth Baseball and Avon Middle High School Athletics; the vote was 2 in favor, 0 opposed, and 1 abstention from Commissioner Marci Kovick. The commission unanimously authorized Roadsafe Traffic Systems to print six new playground rule signs at two per playground, and approved a $100 budget for candy to donate to the Avon Baptist Church's October 31 trunk or treat drive-through, with Commissioner Kovick volunteering to coordinate a Parks and Recreation trunk and Director Jennifer Mayo providing leftover cups for goodie bags.
