Library Trustees approve staff development and new programs

Avon Public Library Board of Trustees approves staff training and community programs. The board endorsed professional development including $875-per-person leadership training for Director Elise LaForge and one staff member, plus $200-per-person cataloging courses for two technicians from State Aid. Trustees approved Girl Scout events and a proposed coffee station in the Reading Room.

The FY 24 budget was submitted as level-funded with a budget workshop scheduled for February 4 at 9:30 am.
