AVON — Finance Committee approves prior minutes and discusses budget deadlines. The committee unanimously approved minutes from its December 16, 2019 meeting and heard that Selectmen Eric Beckerman will schedule a date to ratify revisions to the town's Financial Policy, which will include a new glossary of terms. All departments must submit budgets by January 20, 2020, with a budget bylaw deadline of February 1, 2020.
The committee also discussed the Collins Center stabilization fund and learned that Rockland Trust Bank will conduct quarterly reviews of the NBTE Fund.
