Avon Library Trustees Approve Three Policies, Advance Renovation

Avon Public Library Trustees unanimously adopt three governance policies at January 14 meeting. Library Director Ann Fogg presented the Museum Pass Policy, Art Exhibit Policy, and Phone and Cell Phone Use Policy, all approved without dissent. The Board advanced lobby renovation using $20,000 in State Aid and reviewed a preliminary FY21 budget.

The Trustees received a gift check from the McElaney Trust for computer-area furniture and approved an annual Amnesty of Fines through January 31, forgiving overdue material charges and encouraging donations through the Food for Fines program benefiting the Avon Food Pantry.
