Designer Selection Committee votes to advance Fire Station project

AVON — Designer Selection Committee votes to recommend P&P General Contractors for Fire Station project. The Avon committee moved unanimously to send the recommendation to the Select Board, with Chair Tracy Self set to present it at the Selectmen's May 28 and June 4 meetings. Members also unanimously approved a $5,177.43 Police change order with $1,000 held in retainage and authorized payment of $284.16 to committee Secretary Polly McCarthy.
Staff were directed to compile a repair list and conduct a roof inspection.
