Designer Selection Committee approves $290K in fire station project costs

Avon Designer Selection Committee approves $290K in fire station construction costs. The committee unanimously approved project invoices totaling $278,271.84 and three change orders for the ongoing fire station project. Designer Mark Saccoccio reported that construction progress is good with no quality issues, though the project is running 2 weeks behind schedule with Substantial Completion targeted for August 3, 2021.
The remaining contingency fund stands at $356,958.18, and one change order for electrical work passed 3-1 with committee member Chuck Comeau dissenting.
