AVON — Conservation Commission schedules alternate meeting for septic review. Chair Kevin Mooney and members Edward Mekjian and John Costa unanimously voted to hold an alternate meeting on July 22, 2021, to review a septic system application at 470 North Main Street after required public notice did not comply with notification timing requirements. The commission discussed potential wetlands disturbance at 49 North Main Street and unanimously continued a notice of intent hearing for a building expansion at 20 Ledin Drive to August 12 for peer review comments.
