Designer panel approves $179K for fire station project

Avon designer selection committee approves $179K in construction payment. The committee unanimously authorized $178,918.75 in invoices from design and construction firms ACG, P&P, and S&A, along with change orders totaling $3,676.98 for hazardous-materials abatement and foundation site compaction, advancing the fire station apparatus building project. Chair Tracy Self and members Alex Sinclair and Elaine Dombrosky also reviewed material and color selections, approving Barn Red for the facility's exterior metal building.
The project is approximately two weeks behind its original schedule.
