Council on Aging schedules April programs, raises lunch price

Avon Council on Aging schedules four April events and increases lunch price. Director Jayne Carthas led the March 11 meeting, which approved the February minutes and finalized April programming including a Titanic presentation April 14 and a lunch outing to Blanchard's Tavern April 12. The council also scheduled an Until Help Arrives Program April 21 and Singo on April 7.
Lunch price increased to $5. The council discussed replacing kitchen stoves and noted an upcoming May 11 Remembrance Day event at the Fish & Game facility.
