BOARD OF HEALTH APPROVES THREE SEPTIC SYSTEM UPGRADES

AVON — Board of Health approves three septic system upgrades under Title 5 variances. Chairman Robert Ogilvie, Clerk Ralph Jensen, and Member Peter Marinelli unanimously approved design modifications at 100 Robbins Street, 28A Leo's Lane, and 28B Leo's Lane, allowing reductions in required groundwater separation distances and alternative percolation testing methods. The board also discussed a noncompliance matter at 15 Nichols Avenue, where a 2008 conditionally passed inspection was never followed up despite a 2019 compliance order.
