Avon Council on Aging plans kitchen stove replacement, student volunteer partnership. COA Director Jane Carthas will seek donations to replace two kitchen stoves using Tufts Grant funds. Avon High School representative Dan O'Donnell proposed a community service initiative in which students earn credit volunteering with seniors through leaf raking, technical assistance, and making friendly phone calls.
