The board voted to ensure van drivers receive at least two hours of compensation when called in to cover a trip or when a trip is cancelled after arriving for work. Interim Director Jayne Carthas led discussions on expanding outreach to Fellowship Circle residents, who will receive information about Council programs including van service, shopping trips, and lunches.
The board also discussed a Sound the Alarm grant program for fire department smoke detector training and agreed to invite the Fire Chief to a future meeting to discuss new Sheriff programs.
