Avon Housing Authority votes to terminate Holbrook management agreement

DocumentCenter · Meeting of January 12, 2021

AVON — The Avon Housing Authority unanimously voted to terminate its management agreement with Holbrook Housing Authority effective March 31, 2021. Chairman M. Janet Jensen led the Board after Executive Director Sherry Guilbault objected to Holbrook's plan to reopen offices to the public during the pandemic, citing COVID safety concerns and insufficient support from Holbrook leadership for day-to-day operations.

The Board also approved November 2020 Operating and Balance Statements and vouchers through December 3, with four units currently vacant and managed through the CHAMP waitlist.
