Avon Capital Planning Committee approves budget line item and Financial Policy glossary. The committee, meeting with four of seven members present, voted unanimously on two matters: creating a line item for Purchase and Services in the CPC budget and adding a glossary to the town's Financial Policy. Matt Doucet will sign the policy change on behalf of the CPC.
The committee is developing a simplified project prioritization form with a point system and exploring the creation of a revolving fund to finance capital improvements.
