Conservation Commission approves septic upgrades, advances housing project

Avon Conservation Commission advances septic work and housing development. The board unanimously approved septic system upgrades at Lawson Street and 144 East Main Street, both represented by Collins Civil Engineering Group, with relocations moving tanks away from bordering vegetated wetlands. For Joanna Hill Estates, represented by Muhammad M.

Itani, the Commission affirmed that isolated wetlands must receive identical buffer zone protections as other protected wetland areas under town bylaws. Resource area delineation orders for Katherines Way properties were deferred to December 16.
