Commission approves conservation regulations, continues East Main Street review

Avon Conservation Commission approves first formal Rules and Regulations, continues development review. Chairperson Kevin Mooney led the commission to unanimous approval of draft Rules and Regulations authorizing him to develop implementation forms for the town's wetlands and Conservation Commission jurisdiction. The commission unanimously approved two Requests for Determination for septic system improvements at 4 Brentwood Circle and 409 South Street.

The commission continued a Notice of Intent hearing for a proposed four-unit mixed-use development at 68 East Main Street to April 14, 2022, requesting additional stormwater data and test pit information before allowing the project to proceed.
