Certificate of compliance approved for propane tank project at Katherine's Way

Avon Conservation Commission approves underground propane tank project and issues strict conditions for future Antone Road development. William Self of Curley & Hansen presented the Certificate of Compliance for a 1,000-gallon underground propane tank at 4 Katherine's Way within the 100-foot wetlands delineation zone, with the Commission voting 2-0-1 to approve. The Commission also voted 2-0-1 to approve the Order of Resource Area Delineation for Antone Road, requiring the applicant to abide by Avon bylaws regarding isolated wetlands and prohibiting hard structures within 25 feet of resource areas.

The 50-to-100-foot buffer zone must be used for rain gardens, pervious walks, and other soft stormwater designs.
