Capital Planning Committee Approves Cleargov Capital Management Program

DocumentCenter · Meeting of February 18, 2020

Avon Capital Planning Committee approves capital management software. The committee unanimously voted to adopt the Cleargov Capital Management Program, a $2,000-3,000 annual tool designed to streamline capital project tracking and budgeting, though members noted it falls outside the current year's budget and would require formal approval. The committee is also reviewing its Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal years 2021 through 2025, with members planning to suggest potential grant funding opportunities for select projects.

Members noted that town bond payments this year are placing significant pressure on the budget.
