Avon Park board holds summer program fees steady

Avon Park and Recreation holds summer program fees steady at $200 per participant. The Commission voted to maintain 2022 summer program fees unchanged from 2021: $200 per participant with a $400 family cap for Avon residents and school choice, and $200 per participant per week for non-residents. The board also voted to approve purchase of two 15-foot portable aluminum soccer benches for Butler field.
Director Jennifer Mayo reported that amusement rides and water slides will no longer be covered through town insurance, requiring separate vendor coverage.
