Board of Health approves four Title 5 septic projects

DocumentCenter · Meeting of September 10, 2020

Avon Board of Health approves four septic system projects and convenience-store conversion. The board unanimously approved Title 5 Local Upgrade Requests for residential properties at 144 Packard Street, 54 South Street, and 382 Page Street, each requiring a variance reducing vertical separation from four feet to three feet under state code. Health Agent Kathleen M.

Waldron supported all three plans. The board also approved continued use of an existing septic system at 11 Memorial Drive for a prepackaged-foods convenience store, conditioned on a follow-up Title 5 Inspection after one year of occupancy.
