Board Approves Septic Modifications at Three Properties

Avon Board of Health approves septic system modifications at three properties. The board unanimously approved Title 5 local upgrade requests for 78 School Street, 409 South Street, and 504 West Main Street, each allowing specified reductions to setback and separation distances from property lines, foundations, water supplies, and the Brockton Reservoir; two approvals included deed restrictions limiting properties to four bedrooms and prohibiting garbage disposers. Health Agent Kathleen Waldron noted a required correction to the engineering plan for 78 School Street.
A separate request for 520 and 540 Bodwell Street was withdrawn.
