Avon Designer Selection Committee settles landscaping dispute

AVON — Designer Selection Committee settles fire station landscaping dispute with final payment. The Avon committee, chaired by Tracy Self, unanimously approved $6,716.48 to contractor B.J. Puchalski, resolving a dispute over $10,000 in withheld funds for landscaping work.
The committee also unanimously voted $8,000 for project invoices to ENE pending warrant completion. Committee members Chuck Comeau and Alex Sinclair backed the settlement, which consultant Mark Saccoccio had recommended as fair and equitable to both parties.
