Avon schools approve superintendent's goals and improvement plans

Avon School Committee unanimously approves Superintendent Godino's two-year strategic improvement goals. The four-part plan includes establishing diversity, equity and inclusion action plans and a comprehensive facilities plan for the district. The committee also unanimously adopted the Butler School Improvement Plan and the Avon Middle High School Improvement Plan, both emphasizing curriculum, instruction, culture, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
The district's ESSER III Grant survey, covering federal funding through June 2024, received 211 responses from stakeholders.
