Avon Library Trustees Set 2022 Meeting Dates, Address Facility Needs

Avon library trustees set January and February meeting dates while addressing facility upgrades and policy proposals. Director Elise LaForge reported that the HVAC system has been serviced with a maintenance proposal under review, a fire safety project is moving toward bidding, and an ADA compliance remediation plan is in development with an architect. The board discussed a proposed free printing policy capping usage at 25 copies and 10 fax pages per patron, to be revisited at the next meeting.
New programming includes Tuesday-morning Story Hour starting in January, a monthly PJ Story Time, and expanded museum passes including newly added Easton Children's Museum.
