Avon Housing Authority OKs $500,826 Fiscal Year 2023 Budget

Avon Housing Authority approves $500,826 fiscal year 2023 budget with $161,626 subsidy request. Board Chairman M. Janet Jensen and all four board members unanimously backed the spending plan, establishing expenses of $500,826 against revenue of $467,826.

Executive Director Sherry Guilbault reported the Housing Authority currently operates with 10 vacancies and maintains a wait list of 3,663 applicants. The board authorized the Avon Council on Aging to hold programming at the Community Room and approved a two-year contract with Milne, Shaw & Robillard for accounting services through June 2024.
