Avon Board of Selectmen adopts commercial vehicle restrictions for West Spring Street. The Board voted to restrict vehicles exceeding 2.5 tons from Page Street, Pond Street, West High Street, and West Spring Street, with exceptions for deliveries, and established an alternate route through the Industrial Park. Town Administrator Gregory S.

Enos said the state Department of Transportation will approve once the traffic regulation is formally adopted. In personnel actions, the Board approved three AFSCME classification and rate changes for administrative staff and appointed Deb Morin as Interim Town Accountant, pending Town Counsel's verification that the appointment complies with state law given her concurrent role as Treasurer/Collector.
