Selectmen Review Remote Participation Policy

AVON — The Avon Board reviewed a draft policy allowing board members to attend meetings remotely under new state guidelines. With Selectman Suzor absent, Chairman Rose and Clerk Beckerman approved three personnel appointments: Robert Burke as full-time AFSCME Public Safety Dispatcher effective June 6, and Steven Bates and Eric Ficarra as Seasonal DPW Laborers effective May 31. The Board unanimously approved seven street opening permits for Eversource Gas road cuts on Page Street.
