Selectmen hire Community Paradigm Associates for Town Administrator search

AVON — Selectmen unanimously vote to hire Community Paradigm Associates for Town Administrator recruitment search. The board approved the firm led by Bernie Lynch, who had recruited the town's previous administrator, to conduct the recruitment for a permanent replacement to interim Town Administrator James P. Purcell.
Chairman Eric S. Beckerman, Clerk Jason L. Suzor, and Associate Shannon M.
Coffey also approved multiple personnel actions including the appointment of Claire Walsh as AFSCME Accounting Clerk at Grade OAL 5, Step 2 effective January 30, and stipends for three department positions facing short-staffing: Treasurer/Collector Deb Morin, Executive Assistant/Human Resources Coordinator, and Assistant DPW Director Brian Martin.
