DocumentCenter · Meeting of May 10, 2022

Avon Public Library Board advances building and digital initiatives following Town Meeting funding. The board coordinated roof repairs and weatherproofing improvements under a $20,000 capital appropriation, with contractors quoting flashing and leak repairs and electricians installing emergency lighting and fire-safety systems. Separately, the board moved forward with Niche Academy tutorials at $749 annually, promising a 70 percent increase in database usage, while Kanopy and Creativebug platforms prepare for patron rollout.

Future meetings are scheduled for June 21 and July 12.
